Reacting to Floyd Mayweather’s rant

By now, I’m sure you’ve already read/heard about a certain Floyd Mayweather’s rant. If you’ve been living under a rock, click here for an account of Mayweather’s rant by Mark Lorenzana of

First of all, let me just say that Manny Pacquiao and his people have handled this case perfectly. He stayed classy and did not stoop down to Mayweather’s level. We know that Mayweather still has a handful of loyal fans who’ll follow him if he jumped of a cliff but I think that number took a hit after this meltdown.

He then followed up with a weak ass apology saying that he doesn’t have a racist bone in his body. Whut. You cannot say racist things and say afterward that you do not have a racist bone in your body just because you fear the backlash of your comments.

Mayweather is a freaking prima donna. He squirms every time he feels someone else is being talked about more than him. He reminds me of a group of bikers from South Park’s The F Word episode wherein the bikers would do anything just to gain attention.

My favorite part of Mayweather’s rant was when he showed just how clueless he really is. He pumped himself out by saying that he’ll beat Pacquiao then went on to say that he really doesn’t feel like fighting yet. Sure, Floyd. Take all the time you want. Watch Pacquiao take on all comers then try to convince yourself that you’re better than him.

What Mayweather does is take the path of least resistance. He then watches from the sidelines as the good fighters like take on each other then he comments on how these good fighters have losses on their ledgers, unlike him. It took the boxing world a while to finally decode Mayweather but right now, his gig is up.

Speaking of Pacquiao, I’ve come to accept that there’s no stopping his fight against Antonio Margarito. I still don’t like Margacheato but what can we do, right? I’ll write about my thought on that match next time.

I’ll try my best not to write anything anymore about Mayweather unless it actually involves him fighting/planning to fight anyboby.
